Like a lot of people, I bought about 100 .info domains for adding Build a Niche Store (BANS) to as per Vic's instructions. The reasons I bought so many is because there was a sale on a Go Daddy where the .info domain only cost .99c. That is really cheap and unfortunately a load of spammers also bought something like 100,000 .info domains and used YACG on their BANS sites. Sorry, I really don't understand what that's all about but basically Google has de-indexed any .info domain with BANS on it.
I have heard that if you put some other type of site on the .info domain it's OK, so I've decided to put a blogger blog on it. My first attempt is
Enjoy Tea which at the moment doesn't have a lot of content but it should be enough to get indexed.
I have done some comments over at some of the Blogger Unleashed contest blogs and have also thrown a link from this Xanga blog. It will be interesting to see if google indexes it or not. When it does get indexed I'm going to let it sit for a couple of weeks and then add a BANS site to a subfolder to see how Google reacts to that. I'm still waiting for the site to get indexed but my feeling is that I should be indexed hopefully tomorrow.
